[GRAPHIC: Law Offices of Louis D. Stober, Jr., L.L.C.] LOUIS D. STOBER, JR.: The focus of my law firm is employment, labor, and discrimination. I've been in practice since 1984. So I'm going into my 25th year of practice. We handle everything from the race discrimination, gender discrimination, age discrimination, national origin discrimination, the entire panoply of cases. We also have been very successful in the area of what's called the Fair Labor Standards Act litigation. That is individuals who are not getting paid their fair share of overtime for overtime work or getting compensated at the minimum wage required under both the New York State and the federal labor laws. What I enjoy the most is the interaction with the clients who come in. I like to think of myself as being the David going against a Goliath, that the individual comes into the office is usually a plaintiff who is an employee or somebody who has been injured in some manner by some either large corporation, some large employer, or by events that have seemed to have consumed them, and trying to figure out a way to gain justice for the little guy.
